Refund policy

We stand behind every ReHash Heating unit and want you to be satisfied with your purchase. The terms below describe how returns and refunds work.


7-DAY DEAD-ON-ARRIVAL WARRANTY

If your unit fails to power on or function correctly upon arrival, contact us within 7 days of delivery at contact@rehashheating.com. We will arrange a replacement or a full refund at our discretion. To qualify:

- The unit must be unused except for initial power-on testing
- You must contact us within 7 days of the carrier-marked delivery date
- You must provide a description of the issue and photos or video if relevant

We cover return shipping for verified DOA units. Once we receive the returned unit and confirm the defect, we ship a replacement or issue a refund.


ALL SALES FINAL AFTER 7 DAYS

After the 7-day DOA window, all sales are final. ReHash Heating units are sold AS-IS once the DOA period passes. We do not accept returns for buyer's remorse, performance variations, mining-revenue changes, or fitness-for-purpose claims after this period.

This is because:

- Our units are hand-built from reclaimed industrial hardware. Once a unit is in your home and powered on, we cannot resell it as new.
- Performance and noise are tunable. If you are unhappy with a default setting, contact us for tuning support before requesting a return.
- Bitcoin mining revenue is inherently volatile and cannot be predicted or guaranteed.


DAMAGE IN TRANSIT

If your package arrives visibly damaged, photograph the package and the unit before unboxing further, and email contact@rehashheating.com within 48 hours of delivery. Carrier insurance claims must be filed promptly.


REFUND PROCESSING

For purchases paid by card on rehashheating.com, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5-10 business days of return approval.

For purchases paid in Bitcoin or sats via our partner takemysats.com, refund handling follows the takemysats refund policy. BTC refunds may be issued at the spot exchange rate at the time of refund, which may differ from the rate at the time of purchase.


EXCLUSIONS

We do not accept returns for:

- Custom-color builds or customer-requested configurations
- Units with damage from misuse, improper installation, or failure to follow safety guidelines
- Units modified or opened beyond the customer-facing access panels
- Issues raised after the 7-day DOA period
